How to Order a Whole Cake in the Greater Asheville Area

How to Order a Whole Cake in the Greater Asheville Area Save

The Question We Hear at the Market

Customers stop at our table and ask the same thing: "Can I get a whole cake?" They point to a slice of Käsekuchen or a tray of Spinat-Törtchen and wish they could take the whole thing home for a birthday or a dinner party.

The answer is yes, and we are happy to do it.

What People Have Ordered

Over the last few months, we have baked Russian Pull Cakes for family gatherings, Almond Ricotta Cakes for brunches, and lemon cakes too. It has been fun seeing what people reach for when they can have the whole thing instead of a single slice.

You can order anything from our menu: a whole German Cheesecake, a Lemon Cake, a tray of Spinach Tartlets, or whatever is in season. You can also ask for something you do not see on the table. If I can bake it and source the ingredients, I am happy to try, though custom requests need a bit more time to prepare.

How to Order

The easiest way is to send us an email at info@germanbakingasheville.com. Tell me what you want, when you need it, and how many people you are serving. I will confirm availability and we can work out the details.

You can also find us at one of our markets and we can plan something together in person.

A little advance notice helps, especially for larger orders or multiple cakes.

Delivery in the Greater Asheville Area

We offer delivery for a small fee anywhere in the greater Asheville area. If you are hosting a gathering and would rather not make a trip to pick up the cake, we can bring it to you.

Let Us Know What You Need

We started this bakery in Asheville to share the baking I grew up with. If something on our menu catches your eye or you have an occasion you want to celebrate with a German cake, just ask.
